Louise Katerega
Louise Katerega is a contemporary choreographer,
dancer, teacher and consultant based in
Leicester. She began creating dances in
her teens and fifteen won a national choreography
competition, The Jessie Matthews Awards.
She then successfully auditioned for the
Britain’s first National Youth Dance
Company, which toured UK1985-6, performing
in new works by Graham Lustig (Royal Ballet).

Joanne Fagon
Trained at Melton College FE and University
College St Martins Lancaster. Toured Europe
with “Stomp”. Joanne has also
written for Channel 4 the Richard Blackwood
Show and devised scripts with comedy actor
for BBC Talent. Joanne is currently teaching
drama at Leicester Vocal Tech and works
in Community Education at the Y Theatre.

Alphonso Christie
Classically trained at the Birmingham

3 short films, I have also devised/directed
plays and Choreographed dances which have
been seen by the public i.e. ‘Sins of
the Past’ this was a play were
a man had been sentenced to death row

Carol Leeming
As a poet she began writing as a by –product
of her travel as an acclaimed international
singing/music artist some of her early poetry
took place in the 80’s at national
political Black Women events Carol has hosted
an array of events from East Midland poetry
Circuit “Black Science Culture Festival” Love
in the 21st century poems Snakeman & Storm
produced by Noel Greg. Carol is planning
to publish/record and perform a collection
of her poetry in 2007/8 working title” The
loneliness of the Long Distance Diva” carol
is also an active Playwright mentored

Carol is a hugely versatile artist, with
a powerful and distinct Vocal style.
Carol has enjoyed chart success both in
the UK and US and has made a huge name
for herself on the club scene from Jazz/Funk,
RnB and house she has worked with producers
Staxx, Boyz in Shock, John Digwee and So
dam Tuff. Whilst performing her own material
collaborate on a a track that became “Give me
back all my Love” (remix Marshall
Jefferson) released on jack Trax in US “pressure & pain” re-released
by East West records With the duo Staxx
carol attained further success with “Joy” (No:
1 US Bill Board Dance Chart/UK Top 25/Europe
Top 10) touring extensively in the US and
Europe in the 90’s more recently

Is a highly qualified Leather craft tutor.
He has been teaching leather craft skills
in formal and non formal environments
since 1988. He also attended different
colleges to learn the different aspects
of using leather for garment manufacturing,
for example taught leather craft skills
to many diverse groups, such as the elderly,
young people, people with learning difficulties,
the blind and the partially sighted. Over

Urban Movements
Joanne Alexander is the Lead Choreographer
of URBAN MOVEMENTS and has been involved
in dance for 10 years. URBAN MOVEMENTS
dancers have been performing for 4
years, and the childrens ages are 7-12
years. URBAN MOVEMENTS are a versatile
group and have performed original routines
for the Leicester Carnival Queen Show,
Phoenix Theatre and African Caribbean Centre

V.L.C. Are a group of multi-talented
and gifted potential artists from Leicester
whose original music is a mix of RNB
Hip Hop/Rap. Their work is written and
produced by themselves who operate under
their own artistic names, but perform as
part and are the Vibe Lick Crew. Lady Flame,
Misfire, Alexis & ABM. The group also
consist of dancers who choreograph and
perform their own repertoire. The age range
